I love you!

You ladies have absolutely no idea how much I needed to write. And I say that because even I didn't know.

I most definitely do not have the energy or motivation to think out a thought provoking, engaging, plot filled story line. I must, however, write anyway.

As Ngozi has already seen, my writing has taken place the old school way - with a pen and piece of paper. I'm at a time in my life when I just need to get words out of my head and written down. I can't do this on a computer and effectively feel accomplished (or at times, feel better for getting my emotions out).

As you read my musings, you may of course critique. But please remember that for now, they are mostly musings, my way of getting pain out of my system. So correct all the spelling and grammatical errors you can find, please! Just don't try critiquing a plot line, since, well - there isn't one.

  1. Dude. You were the first person to blog today. I'M SO PROUD!! You said before you're not organized...so I wanted to take a moment and celebrate victory! <3

I love that you're writing with pen and paper. I love that you're musing. I said earlier today how writing is so helpful in regards to just comprehending emotions and dealing with them in a semi-socially acceptable manner. (Meaning, I can't go around killing people in real life, but stories? Totally acceptable haha). And I know you've got so much going on...I'm just happy you're writing. And happy that we're all writing together. Look at us, being a form of church. I didn't realize that until just now.

Anyway. I love you back. I love that you're in my life and I love that you're writing. And anything I can do to encourage this, I will. PROUD OF YOU.

  2. Writing is a great way of processing and understanding what is going on in our lives. Your life is about to drastically change in the next few months and this a great chance for you to externalize all the changes. I don't think it matters whether there is a plot or random ideas as long as its written down.

I think its even better that you're using the old school method of pen and paper. I tend to write that way too just cuz I like the feel of a pen dragging across paper, but also cuz it tends to make me focus my thoughts more. The pen/paper routine is awesome for expressing real and honest emotions because its spur of the moment, no chance for backspace writing! I'm so excited to see what comes out during this time in your life!

    Love you!

  4. I love you too!

    So I'll reply twice! HA!

I don't remember what I wrote the first time - so I'll just write this time.

I am so glad you were first!! On Monday I had to re-read this post a few times before I believed that it was monday and you had posted first. It makes me so happy. :D Especially considering you got in this for the brownies. ;)

D, I love your writing. I love your style - it is so distinct from the way I normally think that it gives me such fresh perspective on things. (Still want to read your NANO novel). I'm glad that you're getting emotions out. I've been thinking about you a lot lately (prolly 'cause I miss you) and you're going through so much emotions (baby and all) that I think it's great that you're writing to get it out. Again, don't care if it's got a plot or not. It's you. :)

Ps. Pen and paper for the win.
